Does anybody use smallcapcenter's scan? If so which filters would you recommend I use? Also if there are better scans out there for beginners to "mess around" with, please let me know.
Lastly, I have a brokerage account with Schwab, and I'm tempted to upgrade to the active trader account. I'm definetely not ready to move on from my paper trading account however I would like to see the charts and L2 in real time, and get familiar with the interface and tools. I think its free to upgrade but I believe you have to have a certain number of trades per month or per year. So would this make my paper trading and research stronger or should I just keep doing what I was doing?

BRAVO indotek68, good choice.

I like microcaptrade.com the best for real time scans but, suggest you try stockchart's scans.

http://stockcharts.com/def/servlet/SC.scan

good to play around with.

also real time L2's are good from alphatrade.com
they also have L2's for pinks.

Real time charting (I find the best) is prophet.net but, again cost's as does alphatrade.

You can get alpahtrade with the L2's and also use their realtime charting..This way not having to pay for 2 services.

hope this helps a bit.
