HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Advanced Clean Technologies, Inc. (Pink Sheets: ACTH - News) announced today that the effective date of its change of name to ACT Clean Technologies, Inc. (ACT) and new ticker symbol - ACHL - will be Wednesday, December 9, 2009. In addition, its new CUSIP number will be 0089J 102. ACT’s wholly owned subsidiary, American Petroleum Solutions, Inc. (APS) has a patented technology for enhanced oil reclamation and a clean-up process that has been used to complete projects for some of the largest oil and gas companies in the United States, including ConocoPhillips, ExxonMobil, Avon Petroleum, Valero Petroleum, as well as the US Navy Petroleum Reserve. APS is also focused on using its technology for increasing oil recovery and extraction at lower costs than current production technology. ACT’s subsidiary recently completed successful tests of 99% oil recovery from soil samples from the Alberta Oil Sands and Utah Tar Sands.
